David co-founded Zalando in 2008. As Co-CEO, he defines and drives the strategy in regards to brand partners and leads Zalando’s efforts in Sustainability as well as Diversity and Inclusion. David holds a Masters degree in Business Administration from WHU - Otto-Beisheim School of Management.

Kate joined in 2019. She is Director Sustainability at Zalando SE. Together with her team, she is a leading figure in bringing Zalando’s Corporate Sustainability Strategy to life and in deriving actionable measures in becoming a sustainable fashion platform with a net-positive impact. Prior to her position at Zalando, Kate held leading positions for Sustainability at Target Corporation and C&A. She also supports the Sustainable Apparel Coalition, where she was a Director of the Board for 6 years.

As Director Sustainability Digital Experience, Julien Slijan and his team are responsible for enhancing the Zalando digital experience to increase customers’ understanding and ability to discover sustainable fashion with Zalando. Before joining Zalando in 2018 as Director Technology for Zalando`s Private Label Business, Julien worked in leading technology roles such as Director of Product Innovations at HERE Technologies. He holds a Masters degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Université Pierre et Marie Curie in Paris.

Morten Lehmann is Chief Sustainability Officer of Global Fashion Agenda (GFA), the world’s foremost leadership forum for industry collaboration on sustainability in fashion. An established expert in sustainability, Morten leads the content team and is responsible for GFA’s core publications including the Fashion on Climate Report and the Fashion CEO Agenda. He also shapes the content for the renowned annual event, Copenhagen Fashion Summit; the leading business event for sustainability in fashion. With over 20 years background in sustainability, and experience working for and advising governments, the UN, NGOs and corporations in Asia, Africa and Europe, Morten is an accomplished speaker and respected voice within the discussion of sustainability.

With over eighteen years of fabric research and development experience within large US and global retail brands, Jodi brought her expertise to Filippa K in 2016. Inspired by the brand’s commitment to driving a movement of mindful consumption, she works with all aspects of sustainability. She takes a holistic view of the product lifecycle, aiming to increase sustainability and implement circularity within every stage. This means collaborating internally to increase Filippa K’s use of more sustainable fibres annually, working toward full traceability within the supply chain, and initiating new ideas that lead to innovative developments.
Isabel Obichere

Isabel lives in London, where she studies at the London College of Fashion. Through her studies of Fine Art, Textiles, and Bespoke Tailoring, Isabel has acquired a thorough skill set and understanding of the conceptual, practical and technical sides to fashion, respectively. However, being surrounded by fellow creatives and absorbed in a fashion-driven mindset, she has found herself becoming increasingly wary of the necessities associated with constructing and consuming fashion sustainably. As a consumer, she knows the struggles associated with becoming a more conscious shopper.
Clare Press
Sustainable fashion journalist, author and presenter
Clare is a sustainable fashion journalist, author and presenter. She is the creator of the Wardrobe Crisis podcast, and also produces and co-hosts the UN’s Ethical Fashion podcast with Simone Cipriani. Previously, Clare worked in fashion magazines, and she pioneered the role of Sustainability Editor at Australian Vogue. Clare is a global ambassador for the Ellen MacArthur Foundation’s Make Fashion Circular initiative, and sits on advisory boards for Copenhagen Fashion Week, Fashion Roundtable in the UK, and Fashion Revolution ANZ.
